Air Diffusers
Air difusers are used for distribution of air that is supplied with the compressor in water mass. The most effective in terms of intense oxygen dissolving is fine-bubble aeration. The air is supplied through the perforated material forming numerous fine bubbles that float to the water surface, oxygenating it.
Depending on size and construction of the tank, a tube or disc aerator can be used.
Fields of application::
In aerotanks – aeration is an integral part of biological waste water treatment from organic impurities by air oxidation and biomass growth. Fine-bubble aeration promotes even air distribution in water mass, that provides high degree of oxygen dissolving.
In flotation – waste waters are treated from suspended matters that are hard to be disposed by sedimentation. The matters are floating to the water surface creating stable foam that is disposed with a mechanical rabble.
In aerobic stabilizers - airing in the process of sediment stabilizing prevents its stagnation and promotes water-disposing qualities before further processing and storage. The sediment is mixed by air bubbles excluding stagnate areas formation.
In ponds – artificial ponds existence is not possible without permanent aeration. Non-aerated pond quickly breaks into bloom, has sleazy appearance and becomes unsuitable for fish breeding. Aeration promotes oxidative processes, thus purifying water. Oxygenation is necessary for fish life sustaining. In winter period in ice there appear holes that also provide additional re-aeration.
In fisheries - aeration is used for storing and moving fish in lentic tanks, thus creating optimal conditions for its living. Lack of oxygen in such conditions is particularly nitoced in summer time.
